Asada served in the French Foreign Legion for six years from 1988 to 1994, and saw action all over the world, from the Central African Civil War to guarding a missile base in Guyana, the Gulf War, peacekeeping operations in Cambodia, and the conflict in Herzegovina.
On the battlefield, he experienced the roles of a sniper, gunner, and machine gunner.
Despite engaging in numerous battles, he survived safely and subsequently worked as a professional bodyguard. After returning to Japan, he worked as a motion advisor for the famous survival action games "Resident Evil 2 and 3," including the firearms and combat poses for those games.
Among his unique experiences was his experience in knife fighting in Central Africa. The bitter experience he had there led him to search for the ideal knife for close-quarters fighting.
He currently serves as an important technical advisor for ISZ KNIVES' knife development.
