ISZ 516 Explorer

 

The ISZ 516E is an original all-purpose knife from ISZ KNIVES.

The blade is made of sub-zero treated Z-Tuff PM, boasting the world's strongest steel.

This makes it less prone to edge trouble than any other steel. Furthermore, the sub-zero treatment prevents hardness and strength loss due to aging.

*The actual purpose of sub-zero treatment is to relieve stress through other heat treatments.

 

The convex grind, combined with the strength of Z-Tuff, results in a knife that is virtually indestructible.

 

The entire handle is a concealed, full-tang design.

This allows for stable handling regardless of the season or environment. The exposed steel at the end of the handle serves as a hammer and glass breaker.

The handle features titanium on the front of the hilt, which prevents the hilt and blade from coming apart even in the unlikely event of bending, and prevents water from entering.

The handle is primarily made of UltreX™ G10, which meets military specifications and offers the highest levels of durability and water resistance.

The sheath is a composite Kydex sheath, which is easy to disassemble and clean.
